Upper Body Building?

For the past 2months I’ve been doing 120 sit ups for my ab muslces.And FINALLY I’m starting to develop a decent pack, enuff for people to notice and be impressed.But something that I haven’t been working on is my pectorals,triceps and biceps….And To be honest I’m a very skinny person. I do athletics so my legs are built and now with my abs coming in, my upper-upper body is looking slightly? weird? if I can use that word.

I’ve tried doing push-ups, but (if i can be honest again)…I can barely get past 5 :| (Very pathetic). So I heard weightlifting is good.

Where I lay down and lift the weigh stretch out my arms and lower it onto my pecs.

Now that I have explained my situation.

Which is better

Less weight – More reps

More weight – Less reps

Also If anyone knows of any pec,bi/tri-ceps building exercises dont hesitate in telling ^_^

Soy vs. Whey Protein – Which is better for women? NOT for body building?

I’m 5′4 and 130lbs – so needless to say I AM trying to lose some weight (at least 10lbs) and trying to kick off by eating better. I’m trying to get into the habit of at least having a smoothie in the morning (instead of the morning coffee) but most I find call for some sort of protein powder. Which would you recommend for someone that’s just trying to get a good/energetic start to her morning?
